INDUSTRIAL BOYCOTT
THREAT AGAINST UNION. OVER DELEGATION TO U.S.A. SEAMEN ALSO OPPOSED. BY CABLE-PRESS ASSOCIATION -COPYRIGHT. Received 1.25 a.m. to-day. MELBOURNE, Jan. 24. The Trades Hall Council is threatening an industrial boycott of the Australian Workers’ Union unless the latter complies with the policy of the Trades Hall Council in connection with the industrial delegation to the United States. Steps will, be taken to prevent other unionists from working with members of tbe Australian Workers’ Union. Seamen also threaten to prevent the delegation leaving Australia. ANOTHER. REPUDIATION. Received 11.35 a.m. to-day. ADELAIDE. Jan. 24. The Trades and Labour Council caried a motion repudiating the industrial delegation to the United States.
