Bather.s at the- river pool at the Ohawe beach yesterday were attracted .it about 4.45 p.m. by the fact that a. im\ n got into difficulties. He was supported in the w r ater by some of his friends. Mr. George Greig went to the assistance of the party, and brought the bather ashore somewhat the worse for his immersion.
