The Daily News • states that a new movement, born of ,the recenit Islamic political inteHeutuaL unrest, aims at nothing less (than the. establishment of a Moslem League of Nations. A reorganised Khalifate forms part of this idea 1 !. The League’is president would be the titular Khalif.
The Cairo correspondent of the paper says that unity is likely to be achieved in the Khalifate, which will be radically reformed, in accordance with modern ideals, when the Islamic, congress .meets at Cairo on May I.—Sydney Sun Cable.
