LOW POWERI WIRELESS RECORD. (by TELEGRAPH FB.ESS ASSOCIATION.) ASHBURTON, July 23. WiLford Al. Dawson, of 3AL, Ashburton, yesterday eclipsed his previous remarkable records on low power short wave wireless by working the amateur station of S2JJA, Air. Waver’s station at Wickford, Essex, England, with a power input of 2.5 watts on a- wave length of 35 metres, approximately equivalent to that consumed in pocket electric torches. The test took place at it most disadvantageous time, after the sun had risen in England. Contact was made at 4.27 p.m., equivalent, to 7 a.m. in England. SENTENCE ON BEITANY. AUCKLAND, July 23.
