APPEAL COURT CASE. » (by telegraph. —press association.) WELLINGTON, July 23. Before the Appeal Court in the flourmilling case, Mr. Skerritt, continuing for the respondents, .said that the millens were just as much interested as the Government in providing the raw material (wheat) for their industry. It was to their interests to have a stabilised price for flour, and that • New Zealand should be independent of foreign supplies. The Government, under its control system, had to fix a price of wheat agreeable to the millers, but Government control was not practicable. unless -the embargo was maintained. /The case is proceeding.
