Kennedy took four for 68 and Boyes four for 73. In the second innings Surrey made 257, Sandliam 50 Shepherd 70. Hampshire jn the first innings made 299, Mead not out 115, and in the second 148. Geary took six for 52. Surrey won by 82 runs. ■ Yorkshire in the first innings made 414 for nine wickets and declared their innings closed. Oldroyd contributed 86, Kilner 59, and Rhodes 114 not out. Somerset pi the first innings made 148, Earl scoring 55. Robinson took five wickets for 65. The s econc l innings resulted in 116. Macauley look four for 29. Yorkshire won by an innings and 150 runs. Sussex in their first innings made 147, of which "Watson compiled 63. McDonald took five wickets for 63. The second (linings resulted in 124. R. Tyldesley took seven wickets for 83. Lancashire made in the first innings 4’5 for nine wickets and declared their innings closed. Hillows made 160 and E. Tyldesley 82. Lancashire won by an innings and 144 runs. Playing for Kent against "Warwick, Freeman took five wickets for 46, and Wright four for 11, including the liat trick. For Warwick, Cook five for 22. Kent won.

For Efesex against Northnnts, Perrin made 102. Douglas took five for 52 and Nichoj five for 63. For Northants Wright took six for-109. Essex won. For Worcester against Gloucester, Root in the first innings took six for 62, and in the second five for 63. For Gloucester, Parker took eight for 42. Gloucester won.

For Notts against Glamorgan, Walker not out made 115. Notts won. —Reuter.
