AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION.
PROBLEM SHOULD BE TACKLED SERIOUSLY.
(BY TELEGRAPH PRESS a.VSOCIATIONWELLINGTON, 'March 18. The Wellington Education Board has discussed the necessity for increasing interest in agricultural education. A committee was set up at to-day’s meeting to draw up a. report to submit to the Agricultural Commission now sitting. Members thought that every child should have a grounding in agricultural matters, . and that education beards should encourage agricultural science. Country boys should be kept in the country and city boys encouraged to go there. There was a need tor research in agricultural matters. The problem had to be tackled seriously.
