FROZEN MEAT
The Blank of New Zealand produce department lias received the following advice from its. London; office' under date March 13: Frozen. Meat.—Wether mutton is in little better demand. Ewes are- still in ,short supply and-prices .are nominal; There is- a little better demand for lambs, but the market is well supplied. Beef market is firm. Wethers, light 8d to 9id, heavy 6d to 7Jd; ewes, sid to 7itl; lambs, under 42’s 11 hi to 12-Jd, over 42’s and seconds llicl to 112-d, Argentine 9fd to lOdf; ox, hinds sid to 53 d, fores ,4Jd to 4fd; cow, hinds od to- old, fores 4d to 4fd.
