CABINET RECONSTRUCTION. A TACTICAL MOVE. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— COPYRIGHT. (Received March 18, 9 a.m.) LONDON, March 17. The Times’ Cairo correspondent discloses the fact that the reconstruction of the Egyptian Cabinet was a tactical move 'designed to thwart Wafdists’ manoeuvres. Originally it was.planned to postpone reeoinstruction till, later, but in face of Wafd’s activity in announcing Zaghlul’s return delay would be construed as confirming the assertion of immediate reconstruction. It was therefore necessary to demonstrate to the country that Wafd had not a' chance of returning to power.—Times.
