Mrs Escot and children arrived on Tuesday by plane from Hastings to visit her parents, Mr and Mrs G Gilbert.

Misses Aureen Ritchie and Verdun Ritchie were passengers by Tuesday’s express for Christchurch. Mesdames Birss and Inglis and Misses Marie and Ann Birss visited Tlmaru on Tuesday last to attend Mr Wm. Hahn’s wedding, in that city. Mrs J. Smith, of Christchurch paid a visit to her mother, Mrs D. Neville last week.
