NEW AWARDS FOR N.Z. JOURNALISTS

WELLINGTON, Feb 24 Complete agreement upon tne terms of two awards for journalists was completed to-day by a Conciliation Council which has been sitting in Wellington since Tuesday, under the chairmanship of Mr H. M. Hopper, Conciliation Commissioner. One award will apply to the journalists in the provincial towns, and the other to those in Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. + A separate dispute was created by the Auckland Journalists’ -Union Its claims are to be considered by Conciliation Council next month.
