SENTENCES FOR THEFT
P.A. INVERCARGILL, February 23. Robert Douglas Hanning was sentenced to three months on each of two -charges—theft at Bluff of a crate of cheese, the property of Brydone Dairy Company, and the theft of four carcases of meat, the property of Ocean Reach Freezing Company. For similar offences, William John McCulloch was sentenced to one month on each charge. The sentences on both accused are to be concurrent. Found guilty of the theft of £613,
the property of Hunter’s Garage, Ltd., Invercargill while an employee of the firm, John Matthew O’Sullivan was sentenced to 18 months’ reformative detention.
