Mr J. B. Kent, M.P., will return from Wellington this afternoon. Mr O. L. Wrigley an old boy of the Rongotai College, Wellington, where he played as full-back in the first fifteen. has been appointed secretary of the Wellington Rugby Union, succeeding Mr A. E. Neilson, who has resigned. The executive committee of the New Zealand Methodist conference, has made the following changes in appointments to Methodist circuits on the West Coast for 1949: —Westport, the Rev. H. Green; Reef ton, the Rev. E. Baker. The Rev. K. G. Fowlei’ will be Home Missionary at Murchison.
