WOMAN HURT WHEN UMBRELLA IS CAUGHT BY LOCO ENGINE
NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 17 Abrasions and shock were suffered Mrs E. Renwick, of Kakahi, when upraised umbrella was caught in piston of a locomative which was hauling a train through the station. It is thought that did not hear the locomotive apWhen her umbrella was by the piston, she was thrown ■to the ground, but the train stopped she had been dragged about yards. She was placed aboard the train and was taken to Taumarunui. where she was admitted to the hospital.
