The Anglican Bishop of Chichester, Dr. Bell, has sent a letter to the Hungarian President, M. Dinnyes, protesting in the name of the World Council of Churches, against the arrest of the Lutheran Bishop ol Budapest, Dr. Lajos Ordas, who was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment early in October for alleged “dealings in foreign currency.” Dr. Bell .stated “I am informed by representatives of the Lutheran Churches in America that it is a pure fabrication with regard to the charge that Dr. Ordas engaged in illegal traffic in foreign currency.’*
