Another Polio Case In Grey Hospital

A further suspected case of poliomyelitis—a boy aged six years—has been admitted to the Grey River Hospital. The boy is from Ahaura. A case of poliomyelitis, a married woman, aged 32, resident of Westpert. is in the Buller Hospital. She has been under observation for about a week and her case has now been diagnosed as positive.

Northern Cases WELLINGTON, Oct 27. A five-year-old boy from Nelson who was admitted to the Nelson Public Hospital on Saturday as a poliomyelitis suspect, has been confirmed as a positive case. This is the first case reported in the Nelson district. One case of poliomyelitis, a 26-year-old Wellington man, was reported to-day by the district health office. Four more positive cases of poliomyelitis were diagnosed in the Auckland Hospital yesterday. They are children who were admitted earlier as suspected cases.
