Trial of Man Who Rescued Mussolini

LONDON, June 25. An American War Crimes Court at Dachau, has indicted Otto Skorzeny. He led a special duty unit to disrupt Allied operations during the Germans' Ardennes offensive m France in December, 1944. Sporzeny rescued Mussolini from prison in the San Grasso mountains in September, 1943. The Court indicted nine of Skorzenys’ special duty troops. The charges were; —(1) Entering combat disguised in American uniforms. (2) Killing, abusing, and torturing more than one hundred American soldiers. (3) Stealing American uniforms, insignia and personal effects, from prisoners of war. (4) _ Stealing Red Cross parcels containing food and clothing consigned to prisoners of war. The trial will begin on July 27.
