Mi- G. H. Wilson will arrive to-day to take up his appointment as train running officer at Greymouth.

Hon. J. O’Brien, accompanied by Mrs O’Brien and Miss C. Moore (secretary), who arrived in Greymouth by air on Saturday, leave by to-morrow’s 'plane on return to Wellington.

Curley, who, as Archbishop of Washington and Baltimore, was the only Roman Catholic Prelate in the United States to be the head of two archdioceses. He was born at Golden Island, Athlone, Eire, in 1879, graduated from the R'oyal University of Ireland in 1900 and from the College of Propaganda, Rome, in 1901. He was ordained a priest in 1904, and was a missionary in Flordia from 1904 to 1914. He was appointed Bishop of St. Augustine by Pope Pius X in 1914, and in 1921 he was appointed Archbishop of Baltimore, to succeed Cardinal Gibbons.
