AUCKLAND, March 18.
While its engines beat a threnody, a Catalina flew above the Auckland harbour this morning, scattering a dead man’s ashes over the sparkling yaters of the Waitemata. The receipt by Auckland’s Air Training Corps of a cannister of ashes with a communication from Christchurch that they be scatterel to the four winds. Official invesigations revealed that it was a genuine request from a woman concerning her husband’s remains.
