THRILLERS IN CHURCH
TO INTEREST CHOIR BOYS LONDON Nov. 16. “Thrillers” for his thirty choir boys to read at sermon time are wanted by the Rev. Peter Mathew, vicar at St. Aidan’s, in Leeds. He said: “I would like books of the Bulldog Drummond or Edgar Wallace type, good clean, robust stuff. My choirboys’ are good lads, but the average age is twelve, and it is asking a lot to expect them to sit through two sermons in one day.”
