KAEMPFER-MELLER CONTEST Recent arrival in New Zealand, American wrestler Herb Meller, will be seen in action at Greymouth tomorrow night against none other than the tough Hank Kaempfer. Meller’s arrival in New Zealand came at a time when both the Auckland and Wellington associations were unable to promote, due to the Town Hall being booked fpr three weeks by the Competitions Society. This has enabled the Greymouth Wrestling Association, which is' rated as one of the most wide-awake of the smaller associations, ,to secure the services of the most recent arrival before he wrestled in the main cities. He is known in America as the “Milwaukee Wrecking Crew,” a ring name bestowed on him in recognition of the manner in which he disposed of tough wrestlers in Milwaukee. Kaempfer’s reputation throughout New Zealand has been enhanced by his most recent performances. Cleveland strong, Kaempfer doesn’t need much encouragement to start jolting and .tackling and with his 16st 81b behind him he is a formidable opponent. He will find Herb Meller, a seven-teen-stoner, ready to meet him halfway. Meller’s ability to handle tough customers has been due not only to his clever wrestling, but also to his ruggedness. More than one wrestler is going to learn that it doesn’t pay to get rough with the Milwaukee Wrecking Crew.
