AN APPEAL

This is an appeal to all young women over the age of eighteen years. We appeal to you to join the nursing service of the Hokitika Mental Hosnital. The Hospital planned on the ‘Villa system is situated in pleasant and healthy surroundings, about a mile from Hokitika. The Nursing Staff is far below requirements, and more staff is urgently needed. The nurses have to work longer hours than they should, and the social activities and outings of the patients is, of necessity, curtailed. Your .help will alter all this, and we need your help. . The staff live in a well-appointed modern home.
