Three million people in Philahave been deprived of all bus, tram, subway and elevated train services, due to the strike of transport workers who are demanding wage increases. Pittsburgh power service employees called a strike which threatens to cut off electricity to nearly two million people in a fifty mile area. Tramway services are already suspended.
