4 CANTERBURY DEFEAT COAST. CANTERBURY’S COLLAPSE IN 2nd. INNINGS. The representative match, Canterbury v. West Coast, was continued at the Recreation Ground yesterday morning. The weather was again line, with a good wicket and outfield. West Coast, who had lost 7 wickets for 70 runs at the call of time on Sunday evening, only added a further nine runs, and were all out tor 7J. Coast did better in the follow-on and made 129. Canterbury s second innings saw a sensational collapse, as when time was called the visitors had lost 7 wickets for 29 runs.
