WEST COAST COMMITTEE At the meeting of the above last evening there were present Messrs J'. Stokes (chairman), J. Griffen, J. Anisy, B. Connors, W. Moore and P. Sweetman. Blackball Club was declared winners of the senior championship, and it was decided to advise Addington Club that it could now challenge Blackball for the Thacker Shild. It was decided that the selectors be directed to choose seventeen players for the West Coast team to play Canterbury at Christchurch on August 26, and Mr. W. Guy (Christchurch) was chosen as referee of the match. It was decided that the Referee’s Association meet on Saturday evening at 7.30 p.m. at the. Hotel ' Richmond. Marist seniors were given permission to play Korodale Club (Wellington) at Wingham Park on September 17. Mr. W. Moore was appointed manager of the West Coast primary schoolboys’ representative team which leave to-morrow for Christchurch to play for the Norman Cox Cup. Griffen); Ngahere a bye. Junior: Blackball v Marist Wingham Park, 1.30 (P. Sweetman); Brunner v Runanga at Runanga, at 2.30. (H. Bassett). Fourth grade: Marist v Brunner at Brunner, 1.30. (T. McKenzie); Runanga v Blackball at Runanga al 1.30. (J. Quinn).
