ANTI-HITLER PLOTTERS

NAZIS EXECUTE RELATIVES. (Rec. 5.5.) LONDON, August 11. A British United Press correspondent at Berne, Switzerland, says: Nazis have executed the wives, children and parents of eight German officers nanged for implication in the attempt to assassinate Hitler. In some cases all the relatives of the officers have been killed, and at least in one case an intimate friend. The correspondent adds: “According to Swiss reports secret trials are proceeding througnout Germany. The first pnotograpns of a trial reached London, by radiogram, from Sweden. It shows that the Gestapo attempted to humiliate prisoners as much as possible. The photograph shows Field Marshal Von' Wit--zleben facing the prosecutor in' a bad-ly-fitting suit from which, apparently, all.buttons had been removed. The photograph makes him look like a half-witted degenerate.
