FARM MECHANISATION

The Premier of New South Wales, Mr. W. J. McKell, has approved of additional advances totalling £25,000 for the farm mechanisation scheme which he launched in at Nowra in J llll6 - • J* XU’ “The original allocation for this purpose,” he said in Sydney, “was £lOO,OOO. Since the inception of that scheme, up to November 30, approval has been given to applications for advances aggregating £82,450 to 33 co-operative dairy societies and one rural co-operative society!. Applications now being considered involve an additional Mr. McKell added that because additional applications for help would be made soon, the Government had decided to make more money available for a scheme, which had been acclaimed by the dairying industry.
