[Our Own Correspondent]. Mr P. Adds has returned to Wellington after spending several weeks in the district. Mrs L. Harris has left to spend a holiday with her parents in Whangarei. Mr J. Dowey left for Wellington to have an examination by Dr Gillies for an injury to his right wrist. As Mr Dowey has been off for approximately six months, it is to be hoped that something can be done for him. Mesdames Fleming and Pollock of Granity were recent visitors to Stockton and were the guests of Mr and Mrs C. Steele. Mrs Fisher ; and Mrs Kelly and daughter, of Blackball, are visiting Stockton and are the guests of Mrs S. Clarke. , . . The mine has been working eleven shifts per fortnight.
