ADHERENCE TO DE GAULLE. P.A. WELLINGTON, March 25. Advice has been received by the Fighting French delegate in New Zealand that M. Albert Guigul, secretarv of the General Confederation of Labour in France (now suppressed by the Vichy Government), has arrived in London from France and placed himself under General de Gaulle’s authority. Before the war M. Guigul was secretary of a trades union organisation in the Pari s area which had over one million members. He brings to de Gaulle the adherence of the French working class.
