TRANSPORT CHARGES
GOODS SERVICES’ TRIBUNAL SET UP.
P.A. WELLINGTON, March 24. The Minister of Transport (Mr J. O’Brien) has announced that the following personnel have been appointed to the Goods Services’ Charges Tribunal: Sir Francis Frazer (chairman), Messrs T. H. Langford, A. C. A. Sexton, M. Simson and R. A. Glen. Sir Francis Frazer is well known for long and distinguished service in the judfcary and has been associated with the administration of road transport licensing legislation since its inception over a decade ago. Mr Langford, of Christchurch, has been a Transport Licensing Authority since 1936, and Mr SextoiTls a well-known legal practitioner of Auckland, who is also closely associated with farming. Mr Simson has had long experience .in the road transport industry and is president of the New Zealand Carriers’ Federation. Mr Glen is a well-known public accountant of Wellington, who has had many years' experience on the accountancy side of road transport.
