U.S.A. Plane Crashes OFF SOUTH AMERICAN COAST. (Rec. 8.30) WASHINGTON, Jan. 22. Major General Harold George, Commanding the General Air Transport has Jannaunced that a United States Army transport plane crashed near the coast of Duch Guiana on Friday last, Jan. 15. She was enroute overseas. She had 26 passengers and nine of a crew. They were all killed, including Major Eric Knight, well-known a's the ..auinor of “This Above All,” Mr. PV E. Foxworth of the F. 8.1. and Messrs William Hodson and O. E. Henryson, both of the State Department. Tne others mostly were military officers. None survived the crash.
