N.Z. AIR CASUALTIES
Reeftonite Killed P.A. WELLINGTON. Jan. 22. The following New Zealand air personnel serving overseas have been reported to be casualties, every one a member of the R.N.Z.A.F., and all sergeants unless otherwise stated:— Archer, Pilot Officer’ Kenneth, seriously injured on active service t father, Mr W. Archer, Palmerston North);Barnett, William Henry, killed on active service (father, Mr J. S. Barnett, Reefton): Ducker, Pilot Officer Darcy Clive Melville, missing on air operations (mother, Mrs A. H. Pocock, Portland): Guthrie, Errol Neil Russell, R.A.F.. accidentally injured, placed on the dangerously ill list (father, Dr. J. Guthrie, Christchurch); Jaggar, William Reginald, missing and believed a prisoner of war (father, R. P. Jaggar, Christchurch); Paterson. Francs Alexander, dangerously injured on active service (wife, Mrs G. F. Paterson, Wellington); Robertson, Malcolm Eric Edward, missing and believed killed on active service (mother, Mrs H. E. Robertson, Wellington); White, William George Henry, missing and believed killed (mother, Mrs S. E. White, Kutarera); Bunting, Wilfred David Burnham, of Dunedin, now reclassified fjs safe in the United Kingdom; Drew, L.A.C., of Spring Creek (Marlborough), removed from the seriously ill list; Lincoln, Stanley Holmes, of Auckland, previouslyreported missing, .and death now officially presumed by the Air Ministry as in June; Schofield, Siddle Henry, of Takapau, previously reported missing, and death now officially presumed" by the Air Ministry as in July.
