lOur Own Correspondent.] REEFTON, Nov. 17. Mrs. G. Wfidermoth. of Reefton, has received advice that her Pte. Gordon Wildermoth, of the 2nd N.Z.E.F. ha's been seriously injured. It is honed that he will soon recover from his wounds. Sergt.-Major Ross, who recentlv returned from the Middle East, is visiting Mr. and Mrs. W. Patterson, Inangahua Landing. At the monthly meeting of the lnangf'hua County Patriotic Committee, Mr. F. W. Archer presided and apologies for absence were received from several members. Alexander Mines Ltd., forwarded £1 4s 7d, their employees’ contributions for the month. The Westland Provincial Council advised that a sunnlv of Khaki and Air Force wool had been forwarded, 'rhe Council forwarded tickets in an art union for a thoroughbred yearling colt. “United Effort.” which are now available for distribution throughout the district. Letters were received from Driver B. F. Dav's j-
dle East, and Pte. J. 0. Pask, expressing apnreciation of narcels from the Inangahua district. Both praised the selection of articles in the parcels and stated how welcome they were, especially as thev were issued to the men while in the field. Pte Pask said that the parcel was the best one he had received in two and a half years. A discussion took nlace on a waste material drive in the district, and it was decided to hold the matter over until the next meeting.
