SHIP SINKS
WITH 570 JEWISH REFUGEES. (Rec. 9.50.) LONDON, Feb. 25. It is reported from Istanbul, Turkey, that the steamer “Strouma,” carrying 750 Jewish refugees, from Roumania, has sunk northward of the Bosphorus. It is not known whether guy were saved. The Jewish refugees had been living aboard the “Strouma” in Istanbul for the lapt two months. They were returning to Constanta, in Roumania, after a refusal of permission for them to land in Palestine.
