The annual knock-out tournament was held on Saturday, and resulted in a win for Paroa A, who played particularly well throughout. Detailed results were:— United 8, Technical B 4. The selectors (Mrs I. Manning, Miss M. E. Ray, and Mr R. J. Armstrong) have chosen the following team to represent West Coast against Reefton next Saturday:— Forwards.—C. Bruhn (Paroa), G. Emergency.—A. Tindale (United). L. Henderson, L. Bruhn, and I. Dunn were not available. It is essential that both West Coast A and B teams attend practice tomorrow at the Drill Hall at 8 p.m. Fixtures for Schools’ Grade games will be the same as for last Wednesday.
