LONDON, August 2,

The Ministry for Food agreed to purchase from the Canadian Wheat Board during the cereal year ending July, 1941, a further 100,000,000 bushels. This is a record purchase. CANADA’S WAR EFFORT. OTTAWA, August 2. The Canadian Minister of Munitions announced that war contracts, totalling 14,900,000 dollars were awarded in the past week.
