-O IN MOVIE BUSINESS. AT 50,000 DOLLARS A YEAR. (Received December 5, 5.5 p.m.) HOLLYWOOD, December 4. President Roosevelt’s eldest son and Secretary, Mr James Roosevelt, has been appointed as Vice-President of. Samuel Goldwyn Productions. He is the first member of the White House family ever to have entered the show business. He is reportd to be receiving fifty thousand dollars a year. He explained: “For a long time, I have contemplated joining the industry, in which my relations with the public will be an outstanding feature.”
