LIVERPOOL MINE
IDLE AGAIN TO-DAY. In view of the State miners being of the opinion that a danger still exists in the Liverpool mine at Rewanui, the colliery will be idle to-day. It is considered that the sealed-off portion of the Morgan west section of the Liverpool mine, where a fire occurred I in August last, has heated considerably over the week-end, and it is stated that yesterday the heat was 148 degrees. It is not known, therefore, when the mine is likely to resume. .
