Trotting Notes Not Produced: ,Bexley Girl was not produced at the Waikato Trots on Saturday, beingreserved until next Saturday. After some hard racing at Addington, she was. given a let-up, and it was considered that. it was asking too much of her to run last Saturday. Bexley Girl is. a certain starter in the Auckland Cup, even if giving away two seconds on her present mark. Bi worthy: - Unless present intentions are changed, Biworthv will visit Auckland during the holidays, and he is to be entered for the better-class unhoppled events. 'He is a most consistent trotter who should pay expenses. Kewpie:

Kewpie’s progeny have been much in the limelight recently, and it is interesting to note that she is being sent to the Rey de Oro horse Gaillprd this season. Acora: Accra is being alloted plenty of judicious work at Hutt Park in view of the approaching Wairarapa meeting, and her progress suggests that she has improved with the racing she had last month. A Bright Futures A very high opinion is held in the north of the novice pacer Lynn Rey, who was confidently backed and won at the Waikato Trots. He has done comparatively little racing, but his "showing at the Auckland meeting last month was suggestive of better things to come. Lynn Rey is a half-brother by Rey de Oro to Lynn worthy, who gave promise of developing into one tof Auckland’s best pacers a couple of ‘seasons ago but unfortunately dropped dead after giving two brilliant displays at Hutt Park. Lynn Rey is owned by that popular sportsman Mr E. H. Cucksey and trained at Cambridge by G. T. Mitchell.

Racine Notes c i For West Coast: The Riccarton trainer A. S. Ellis expects to race his team, at the holiday meetings on the West Coas£ Silver Lark, Real Lady, and Maka Ahi are definite, and Leaderette’s inclusion will depend on the progress made during the next week. Ellis may also take over Elbanor for the trip on behalf of his owner, Miss 0. Stewart of Rakaia. Quadroon:. L. Wilson, the trainer of Quadroon relieved the Nigger Minstrel—Liaison gelding of his Feilding engagement owing to the hardness of the track. There is nothing wrong with this good performer and he is getting through his tasks at Awapuni in good style. Tiger Gain: Tiger Gain was not without friends for the Manchester Handicap at Feilding. a race he had won the two previous years, but he failed to gain a place although' he came home quite solidly after being in the j’ear three furlongs from home. Though he may riot be the same brilliant sort he was, 'the Gainscourt gelding should win further races. High Caste: The trainer R. S. Bagby, according to t a northern report. Is pleased' with the way High Caste came through his

Ellerslie race and expqcts him to be a vastly-improved colt by the time the Great Northern Foal Stakes comes up I for decision. Not Mentioned: ■ln summing pp the Auckland weights the Auckland critic ‘‘Archer” does not include Arctic King among his half-dozen likeliest early prospects He names The Buzzer, Quadroon, Wotan, Master Brierly, Kelly, and Malagigi. Bronwen: By finishing third in the Vauxhall Handicap at Ellerslie last Monday, Bronwen showed encouraging form. This mare corhmenced racing only at the Avondale meeting, and when she has had further experience more is likely to be heard of her. She is a four-year-old daughter of the KJI- - horse Cambria Park and she is out of the Lucullus mare Recijrio.
