FAMILY REUNION

MELBOURNE STREET CORNER. N.Z. POLICE OFFICERS. MELBOURNE, Novemebr 23. Five brothers, four of whom had associations with the polite _ force either in New Zealand or in Victoria, held a brief reunion on a Melbourne street corner a few days ago. It was the first time in 35 years that all had been together. The reunion was prompted by visit of Senior-Sergeant DayiS Calwell, of Auckland, who, with his wife, has been spending his leave in Australia The brothers aiyranged to meet at St. Paul’s Cathedral corner. When he arrived there, Mr Davis. Calwell was unable to recognise his youngest brother, Archibald, who is a senior constable at South Melbourne. ..These brothers had not met since 1915, when Archibald was 17.
