[Our Own Correspondent]. Mr George Tibbles, of Hukarere, sustained a badly cut foot, through an axe slipping whilst he was working in the bush. He was brought to Dr, Wicken for attention, and several stitches were inserted in the injured member. Mrs F. Lester, of Christchurch, who has beep on a visit to her mother in Reefton, left on return on Saturday. Miss E. Thompson left by the railcar this afternoon on return to Training College. A special meeting of the Inangahua Hospital Board was held on Saturday evening, to deal with accounts nwing by patients for .maintenance fees. After considering each individual account, instructions were given to the Secretary to sue in a number of cases. In other cases, final notice is to be given, and in default of payment or a satisfactory arrangement being made, legal proceedings are to be taken. Mrs D. Williams and two sons, Runanga, were visitors to Reefton on Saturday. Mrs Thompson, Maruia, was in Reefton on Saturday on a short visit. Mr and Mrs W. J. Duff and family, who have been holidaying in the North Island, returned on Saturday. Two rinks of Murchison bowlers played Reefton yesterday on the Reefton green, and the day being fine, a good game was enjoyed. The visitors, however, suffered defeat by a small margin. Mr A. McGregor, for Murchison Club, apologised for the non-appearance of the third rink, as they were prevented from coming through taking part in the search for a missing resident, Mr Win, who disappeared on Saturday. He thanked the Reefton Club for the welcome extended and the entertainment given, and invited Reefton to visit Murchison, which the Reefton President, Mr V. Mori, said would be accepted very shortly. In the game for the “Buttons,” M. Fennell and V. Moii were defeated by D. Wight and C. Buist, by 27 to 13. The Dominion cricket team journeyed to Waiuta yesterday and scored a meritorious three-point win. After being down to the tune of 18 runs on the first innings, the Dominion team fielded very keenly and dismissed Waiuta for a small score and in their second strike, made the runs necessary for a major win. The scores were:— Waiuta, Ist innings—■ 219 (Darby 15, Gidley 28, Adams 29, Roche 12, Folley 23, Davies 52, Dartnell (not out 24). Bowling for Dominion, McKenzie took -3 for 65, Quinn 2 for 42, McDougall 5 for 32. Dominion replied with 201 (Wilson 14, McDougall 35, McKenzie 80, Quinn 37). For Waiuta, Adams took 2 for 53, Kennedy 1 for 25, Roche 2 for 24, Davies 3 for 7. At five o’clock, Waiuta commenced their second innings and were out for 27. McKenzie took 7‘ wickets fof 7 runs and McDougall 1 for 15. Requiring 42 for an outright win, and 25 minutes to play, Dominion compiled 62 for three wickets (Wilson 22, Quinn, not out, 10, McKenna, not out, 15). Bowling for Waiuta Davies, 2 for 18, and
