lOur Own Correspondent]. The monthly meeting of the Inangahua Women’s Institute was held in the schoolroom on Saturday afternoon, Mrs Rooney presiding. After the usual procedure the motto was read by Mrs Hunter, “Laugh and the World Laughs With You, Weep and you Weer> Alone”. Some very useful hints were given on the roll call, “Uses of Kerosene or Vinegar.” The competition for the best decorated coat hanger was won by Mrs Caldwell, with Mrs Stone second, and the best vase of flowers arranged in five minutes, resulted in Mrs Stone and Mrs Hunter being equal for first place, with Mrs Caldwell second, "a demonstration was given by Mrs Stone. A dainty afternoon tea was served by members. The Women’s Institute picnic is to be held on Saturday next.
