HARRY BRIDGES
HIS ARREST RECOMMENDED. (Received February 9, 11.40 p.m.') WASHINGTON, February 8. The Immigration Department Services have recommended the Labour Department to issue a warrant for the arrest of Harry Bridges (the Australian, who is leader of the Pacific Coast longshoremen, and a C. 1.0. Official). The issue of a warrant is recommended with the view to Bridges’ deportation on the ground of his Communism. An early decision is expected.
