N.S.W. MINERS
ACCEPT SETTLEMENT. (Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.] SYDNEY, August 18. The miners in tne southern and western fields have endorsed the settlement regarding wages, reached at the conference held last week. The general secretary of the Miners’ Federation said that stopwork meetings, and stay-in strikes had had more influence with the owners than the Federation leaders’ arguments. The “next round” would be fought through Australia.
