BASKETBALL
REEFTON TEAMS. A Reefton team travelled to Westport on Saturday last, and were defeated by Westport A Rep team by 28 points to 5, after a much more even game than the score would indicate. Against the Westport B rep. team, the Reefton team was successful, winning by 5 points to 4. ■ Preliminary arrangements have been made for the Westport team to visit Reefton at an early date, to plav Reefton A and B rep teams. On Saturday next, a practice will be held in the school ground at 2.30 p.m. The following players are requested to be present:—D. Patterson, C. Patterson, S. Bartlett, J. Cleaver, E. Williams. C. Panckhurst, I Rollerson, E. Woods, E. Bartlett, D. Strachan, G. Crossman, D. Gilmore, A. Coghlan, A. O’Flahefty, P. Bartlett. M. Honey. Any players unable to be present are asked to notify the secretary as soon as possible. The Basketball dance arranged for Friday, August 20th. will not be held.
