BASKETBALL
At the meeting of the West Coast Basketball Association’s Executive Miss Al. E. Ray presided, there being also present Misses M. A. Gardner, M. Tennent, P. Kerins. M. Hill and E. Rohloff (secretary). The New Zealand Association advised that the annual meeting will commence on Tuesday, August 31, at 10.30 a.m. A vote of thanks was passed to Mrs. Grenwood, for her work in connection with shop day on Saturdaylast. It was decided that Wool worths and Cobden C.O.G. A teams play off next. Saturday to decide the winners of the B. Grade competition. It was also decided to hold a knock-our. tournament for the remaining B grade teams.
