ACCIDENTS
Injuries Prove Fatal STOCKTON MINE ACCIDENT. (Special to “Argus.”) WESTPORT, August 15. The death occurred at the Buller Hospital-on Saturday of John Jack, aged 49, of Millerton, who was injured in a fall of coal at the Stockton Mine on August 3. Deceased, who was a native of Scotland, had worked at Millerton for 12 years and lately was employed at the Stockton Mine. He is survived by a widow. An inquest was opened before Mr. E. R. Fox, J.P. (Coroner) on Saturday, when evidence of identification was given, and the'' inquiry was adjourned.
