ACCIDENTS
. '■ WOMAN HIT BY CAR. GISBORNE, August 15. A young woman, named Vera Cameron, was struck by a motor car in Ormond Road on Saturday evening, and removed to the Cook Hospital, suffering from head injuries. The 5 car was driven by Humphrey Robinson, who states that he was dazzled by the lights of an oncoming car. Miss Cameron, whose parents reside in Southland Road, Hastings, is reported, to be in -a serious conditions.
