PARTITION QUESTION. [Aust. & N.Z. Cable Assn.l GENEVA, August 5. Assurances that Britain had done her best under the Palestine Mandate, which proved unworkable, were given bv Mr Ormsby Gore. He later left for London, and will not return to Geneva until he is needed. ZURICH, August. 5. The Zionist Congress decided to discuss the political aspects of the Palestine proposals, in camera.
