A COMPLAINT.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —At the last’ meeting of the Greymouth Harbour Board, the engineer stated that the removal of sand from the Blaketown beach had been stopped. Now, Sir. I would like to know if he i« aware that drays have been carting sand from t!he area be tween Blake Street and the crown of ihe beach .in th e vicinity of Flower Street, to such an extent that the spi/ing t’ides, during heavy weather, are now menacing the homes. A pro seeution, accompanied by a fine, may possibly act as a deterrent. T am, etc.. “RESIDENT.”
